Job summary

Community Health Resources in Enfield, CT is seeking a Program Director to lead Alden House, a trauma-focused Transitional living program for youth. You will guide clinical services, supervise staff, and ensure timely documentation while aligning with regulatory standards and program goals.

The role requires a Master’s in a mental health field with at least 3 years of relevant experience and preferred supervisory experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health related field; bachelor's may substitute in some programs.
• At least 3 years' experience working with the identified population.
• Supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership within the Team.
• Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients' request for treatment.
• Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
• Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff within the program.
• Facilitates team meetings.
• Ensures client, program and agency documentation is completed in a timely manner.
