The role supports overseas programs through operational oversight, student services, faculty collaboration, and institutional representation. This position also contributes to international scholarship coordination, participant support, and health and safety practices connected to study abroad opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development and administration of study abroad and exchange programs
• Oversee budgeting and financial management for programs
• Coordinate faculty recruitment for abroad programs

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Two years of experience managing study abroad programs
• Preferred: one semester of studying, working, or living abroad outside the United States
• Illinois residency must be established within 180 days of start for out-of-state hires
