Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Rock Steady Boxing Program Director to oversee all operations of the RSB program for residents with Parkinson’s disease. The role focuses on program development, scheduling, partnerships, and ensuring safe, effective training within the community.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, community outreach, and coordinating with local PD resources while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field preferred or two years of related work experience.
• Must be willing to attend a Rock Steady Boxing coaches certification training (virtual or in person).
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop level-specific curriculums focused on a sequence of activities (breathing, stretching, warm-ups, balance, boxing circuit).
• Create and demonstrate workout activities to local groups to promote RSB in the community.
• Administer assessments and track boxer progress within recommended timeframes.
• Develop virtual and in-person class schedules to accommodate boxers’ needs.
• Identify local PD programs and professionals to partner with and promote RSB.
