Program Director - Out of School Time (OST)

Job Overview

This position is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and academic enrichment implementation at the program. Responsibilities include daily on-site presence, training and supervision of staff, program development, evaluation, fiscal oversight, and engaging parents, parish schools, community members, and funders as a liaison.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all CSS Policies and Procedures.
  • Attend weekly CSS OST Director Meetings and other scheduled trainings.
  • Facilitate staff meetings, prepare agendas and follow-ups, and communicate program updates.
  • Supervise staff recruitment, hiring, and evaluations.
  • Manage participant registration, orientation, and recruitment efforts.
  • Build relationships with parents, school staff, and community partners to support student outcomes.
  • Assist in developing and managing the program budget and ensure timely reporting and financial documentation.
  • Manage fee-for-service billing processes.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance plans with the host school or site.
Programmatic Duties
  • Implement age-appropriate curricula aligned with PA Common Core Standards, including Project-Based Learning and enrichment clubs.
  • Participate in school planning sessions for academic and leadership activities.
  • Create outreach materials and promote programs through various channels.
  • Seek new initiatives and funding opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Passion for working with children.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or Human Services, with at least two years’ experience with children.
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania Common Core Standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs.
Physical Requirements

Occasional standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 25 lbs., and other physical activities as needed.
