Overview

AltaMed is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Director Nursing Initiatives, Float to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing-focused programs. This leadership role aims to improve patient care quality, staff satisfaction, and clinical outcomes through strategic initiatives, collaboration with nursing leadership, and effective management of program budgets and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, and administration of nursing programs and policies.
  • Oversee daily operations, projects, and activities within Nursing Services.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to enhance clinical outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Support the Assistant Vice President of Nursing Services in administrative and analytical tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration preferred.
  • At least 8 years of Registered Nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in progressive nursing leadership roles.
  • Ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range : $163,363.20 - $204,214.40 annually. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, CME days, tuition reimbursement, and more.
