Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Program Director for the Multi-Dimensional Anti-Recidivism Partnership (MAP) located in Barstow, CA and Victorville, CA.

You will lead daily operations, recruit and train staff, and ensure the program advances CSI's diversity, equity and inclusion values. The role oversees budgeting, supervision, and collaboration with subcontractors to deliver rehabilitative services to justice-involved individuals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in social services or criminal justice with relevant experience.
• Three years of management and staff supervision experience.
• Ability to engage collaborations with community agencies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve staff duties and client paperwork including program plans and reports.
• Recruitment for all program positions and staff orientation.
• Facilitate staff training and ensure minimum annual training hours.
• Monitor program and staff compliance with agency policies.
• Oversee program budgeting and cost-efficiency analyses.
• Coordinate client referrals, admissions, and outside agency resources.

Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated a passionate candidate to fill the role of Program Director for our Multi-Dimensional Anti-Recidivism Partnership (MAP) located in Barstow, CA and Victorville, CA. The selected candidate will be leading and managing the daily operations of the program through recruiting, training, and providing supervision and development to staff members, while ensuring that the program is operating in a manner that exemplifies CSI's values, including principles of diversity, equity and inclusion. MAP is an innovative program dedicated to engaging the community and providing rehabilitative programming for justice-involved individuals. We focus on promoting long-term, self-sustaining skills through vocational training and personal development services. This unique model hosts a variety of sub-contractors at one site to reduce barriers for clients.

Position Overview

• Review and approve all staff duties and client paperwork including but not limited to, program plans, monthly progress reports, closing summaries, and counseling forms.
• Conduct, with the assistance of any supervisory staff, recruitment for all program positions.
• Conduct and facilitate staff orientation and training using in-service and outside agency resources.
• Ensure supervised staff receive a minimum of required hours of training annually.
• Monitor program and staff compliance with all agency policy and procedure.
• Ensure compliance with other relevant criteria including referring agency requirements and applicable standards.
• Perform policy and program audits as required.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and cost-efficiency.
• Review weekly sanitation and safety inspection reports and address deficiencies.
• Monitor on an ongoing basis program expense and revenue budget categories.
• Maintain monthly documentation on above and justify variations from budget averages targeted.
• Develop annual program budget and establish fiscal priorities.
• Ensure proper accountability over program resources including food, utilities, telephone, and house and office supplies.
• Approve and coordinate client referrals and intakes from respective contracting agencies.
• Identify, coordinate and monitor existing and new outside agency resources for program and agency use.
• Develop contacts with outside agencies and individuals which may foster agency and program growth.
• Perform the functions of Human Service Worker or Case Manager that relate to client supervision, treatment and custody as needed.
• Directly investigate and handle all client appeals of a disciplinary or grievance nature.
• Coordinate and participate in all client admissions, orientation, and removals.
• The Program Director should be ready to perform any tasks, reasonably assigned, that are needed to maintain the viability of the Program.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree and three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field. Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one-year-for-one-year basis.
• Three years of experience in management and supervision of staff.
• Ability to engage and develop collaborations with community agencies.
• Previous assessment and experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Annual Salary: The salary range for this position starts at $85,000 and the offer will be reflective of experience, education, skillset, etc.
