Reporting to the Dean of the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, the Program Director is responsible for leadership and the overall management of the M.S. in Physician Associate (PA) Studies program.
This inaugural Program Director is an architect of the PA program curriculum, faculty, and supporting program facilities. In addition, the Program Director will build a sustainable program grounded in evidence-based medicine and best practices for clinical care with the goal of supporting the healthcare needs of the Bronx and Westchester County.
They are responsible for ensuring an educational experience for the MSPAS students of the highest caliber, cost and time-efficient delivery of the program offerings, and compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies and procedures.
The position requires that the individual is qualified to teach, act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the university, and engage in active clinical scholarship and practice.

Supervises the work of other Fordham employees who are individual contributors. Responsible for hiring, training and developing, managing performance and administering corrective action. Has significant input in compensation decisions.
A strong track record of scholarship and/or professional service.
Ph.D. in Health Science or a related field.
