Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Director to supervise a comprehensive treatment program, staff, and clients on-site in Addison, TX. You will align services with the organization’s mission and lead quality improvement initiatives while collaborating with leadership and clinical teams.

The role includes direct clinical work, staff development, and participation in marketing and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in qualifying field ( Addiction Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related ).
• Current LMFT/LMSW/PhD/PsyD/LPC/LCSW/MFTI/RD or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Two years' experience in administration or management of mental health programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of the program to ensure quality and initiates any quality improvement.
• Supervise weekly Treatment Team Meetings for team communication and client progress.
• Participate in staff recruitment and interview process.
• Provide bi-monthly in-service trainings to Professional and Counseling staff.
• Provide oversight of utilization reviews and ensure client stays are covered (insurance, private pay).
• Maintain staffing coverage for shifts and adjust to census changes.
• Provide individual and family therapy as appropriate and co-lead groups when needed.

Education
