Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation and management of the Adult Day Health Care program.
• Manage staff and the interdisciplinary team.
• Oversee participant services and programs.
• Manage the new participant intake and assessment process.
• Coordinate healthcare, rehabilitation, and social services provided by the team.
• Ensure compliance with program regulations and operational standards.
• Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and outside organizations.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of the center’s programs and services.

We are looking for a Program Director to manage and lead our Adult Day Health Care program in San Diego.

Our center is an Adult Day Health Care Center that provides health care, rehabilitation, social activities, and support with daily living for seniors.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome candidates who have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in healthcare, health sciences, rehabilitation, social work, gerontology, or a related field
• Preferred: Professional license or certification such as RN, Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Social Worker, or another related healthcare professional
• Management or leadership experience in a hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation center, Adult Day Health Care center, or similar healthcare setting
• Experience managing staff and overseeing programs
• Ability to communicate warmly and effectively with seniors and their families
• Understanding of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and the Adult Day Health Care system
• Responsible, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Oversee the overall operation and management of the Adult Day Health Care program
• Manage staff and the interdisciplinary team
