Job summary

Prairie Community Services is seeking a Program Director for Eastwood Home in Redwood Falls, MN. This on-site, full-time role oversees all aspects of a 24-hour program serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and related needs.

The position requires supervision and training of staff, ensuring person-centered programming and regulatory compliance, with a starting salary of $58,240. Diversity and excellence are valued in our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older as required by licensure.
Must pass DHS background clearance.
Must have valid driver’s license and meet driving criteria.
Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English.
BA or BS in human services or related field.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, evaluate, update, and train on each person’s services, supports, and outcomes.
Ensure needs and program expectations of persons served are met 24 hours a day.
Follow recipes, menus and diets as ordered when preparing and serving meals/snacks.
Ensure medical treatments and medications are ordered, stored, documented, and given as medically ordered.
Communicate professionally with people served, families, outside services and PCS staff.
Develop and maintain staff schedules including approving/denying time off.
Ensure documentation of daily program information.
Attend and/or lead in-services, develop and maintain staff schedules, and conduct employee performance reviews.
