Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Program Director for our Wilkes Barre, PA location. The starting salary is $62,000 annually, or salary aligned with experience and licensure, plus mileage reimbursement.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's in a health-related field, PA licensure (LMFT/LSW/LCSW/LPC/LBS), and at least two years of program management experience in behavioral health, along with experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or another health and human service-related field required.
• Licensed in PA as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS) required.
• Two years in a mental health setting.
• Two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• At least two years of program management experience required.

• Overseeing the profit and loss for the program and managing daily operations.
• Maintaining productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders.
• Overseeing recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.
