Tinsel Experiential is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and organized Program Director to lead and elevate one of our premier national field marketing programs. This role requires a proven leader who can think big picture while managing the details, inspire a team, build client trust, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Development
- Serve as the national strategic lead for our client’s on-premise and experiential marketing priorities.
- Foster the development and execution of national initiatives, training, and tools across all regions.
- Own and implement compliance training for sampling and activation programs in accordance with state and local laws.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow and improve the program, ensuring alignment with client goals.
Team Management & Execution Excellence
- Recruit, hire, train, and oversee a high-performing team of 7–15 Market Managers and Field Operations staff.
- Ensure Market Managers successfully manage and develop promotional staff, who represent the brand with excellence.
- Conduct regular field visits to support quality execution and mentor team members.
- Provide consistent updates, performance feedback, and coaching to all levels of the team.
- Act urgently and professionally to address any performance issues, in accordance with Tinsel policies.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for both brand-side and commercial-side client partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributor teams, and key accounts.
- Represent Tinsel in critical client meetings, showcasing program performance and strategic insights.
- Deliver regular client updates through weekly recaps, monthly and quarterly reviews, and annual business planning sessions.
Business Planning, Budgeting & Administration
- Lead annual business planning efforts, integrating program learnings and future recommendations.
- Manage and maintain program budgets, including payroll, expenses, and field resources.
- Oversee reporting, recapping, and KPI tracking to ensure alignment with client direction.
- Ensure calendars, schedules, and deliverables are maintained and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8–12+ years of experience in program management, with emphasis on field marketing, experiential, or promotional events.
- Minimum of 3 years team leadership experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the adult beverage industry, with strong knowledge of on and off premise marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and social responsibility.
- Ability to travel up to 35%.
