Job summary

Horizon Health Services in New York seeks a Program Director to lead a mental health and addictions program. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team and ensure clinical records meet standards while monitoring service delivery for compliance.

The role requires a Master’s in health and human services, LMSW/LMHC/LCSW/CASAC licensure, and at least 5 years of counseling experience. This is a full-time position with an on-site schedule and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services as needed and ensure alignment with agency standards.
  • Supervise multi-disciplinary team counseling staff and manage caseloads.
  • Ensure clinical records are accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Monitor completion and accuracy of clinical documentation.
  • Identify staff development needs and arrange training resources.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations and site maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Horizon’s policies and funding requirements.
  • Evaluate staff performance per Horizon policies.

As a Program Director at Horizon, you will…

  • Provide direct servicesas needed and consistent with the requirements and duties of the position.
  • Ensure that services are provided consistently with agency standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ensure that clinical records are accurate, adequate, and current as per OASASregulations.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision to multi-disciplinary team counseling staff members regarding service delivery and caseload management.
  • Monitor the completion and accuracy of clinical documentation by multi-disciplinary team counseling staff.
  • Identify counseling staff’s professional and clinical skill development needs, and provide assistance as needed with accessing training and other resources.
  • Performday to day management of the program operation including management of staff monitoring the maintenance of the site and reporting to administration.
  • Ensure compliancewith Horizon’s policies and procedures, the regulations of certifying agencies, and the requirements of funding sources.
  • Performevaluation of the program’s clinical staff in accordance with Horizon Health Services Personnel Policies and Procedures.

Location

This position is located at 6302 Inducon Dr E, Sanborn NY.

Hours

This is a full-time position from Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm with the ability to be flexible on evenings and weekends. This position also has on-call responsibilities.

Compensation:

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $77,000 - $83,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Physical demands associated with this position include:

  • Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
  • Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
  • Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 50 pounds
  • Mobility between nearby worksites and within facilities
