CN Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc. seeks an Administrative Supervisor to lead a professional residential staff team providing counseling services to people with psychiatric disabilities. You will ensure program effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and quality care while managing facilities and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all administrative, fiduciary and program services to meet objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee admission of residents to ensure adequate services and supervise staff.
  • Develop programs for clients and oversee quality assurance and improvement.
  • Manage program operations in line with contract and budget; supervise staff.
  • Oversee residential properties, lease and property management.
  • Recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff; oversee staffing patterns.
  • Provide crisis support and ensure timely incident reporting under regulations.
  • Ensure QA standards are met; represent the agency at meetings and community functions.
  • Oversee Facilities Team and all sites to ensure safety and resident needs.

JOB DEFINITION

Provide administrative supervision to a dynamic team of professional and paraprofessional residential staff providing counseling services to people with psychiatric disabilities. Responsible for the overall functioning of the program and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state and federal regulations.

REWARDS

You will receive a retention bonus of $3,000 after completing 6 full months of full-time employment in this role, and an additional bonus of $5,000 after completing 12 full months of full-time employment in this role.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of Master's Degree in human services.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Five years supervisory experience in a mental health related field. Knowledge of the needs of the MICA/SMI population. Experience in management of Office of Mental Health Facilities including property and fiscal management. Familiarity with Community mental health supports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Director to manage and direct all administrative, fiduciary and program services to ensure conformance with program objectives, agency policies and procedures, and compliance with regulatory, funding and governing bodies, including but not limited to:
    1. Oversee the admission of all residents to ensure adequate services
    2. Provide supervision to management staff and program staff
    3. Develop programs for clients
    4. Oversee quality assurance and improvement process
    5. Manage the operation of the program in accordance with the contract and budget
    6. Perform all other supervisory functions which impact the quality and productivity of the program
  2. Provide oversight to all residential properties including obtaining properties, lease and property management.
  3. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing evaluation of staff. Provide oversight of staffing patterns of the programs.
  4. Provide ongoing structured supervision to Assistant Directors and Managers and ensure that all staff are receiving adequate training and supervision.
  5. Assure that consumers receive services appropriate to their needs.
  6. Participate in the implementation of program policies and procedures in conjunction with the Vice President and Quality Assurance.
  7. Participate in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures in conjunction with the Vice President.
  8. Responsible for routine monitoring of all client records to ensure that records are up to date and include all required documentation in compliance with applicable individual program regulations and policy manuals.
  9. Provide direction and support to staff during crisis situations.
  10. Ensure that all incidents are reported in a timely manner in accordance with applicable regulations.
  11. Ensure that Quality Assurance standards are met or exceeded in cooperation with the Manager of Quality Assurance and Vice President.
  12. Represent the agency in facilitating the goals of the program. Represent the agency at community meeting and functions as needed.
  13. Oversee the Facilities Team and all Agency sites to ensure sites are safe and meet the needs of the residents and staff. Track task completion for the agency.

  2. Encourage quality improvement processes and provide consistent resources for QI and professional development
