Routt County Riders is seeking a Program Director to assist the Executive Director in delivering and growing our programs in Northwest Colorado. You will help with creative marketing, community events, volunteer outreach, and broader community engagement.
The role may involve data collection, research, collaboration with partners, social media, fundraising, and grant writing. This is a full-time position in the Spring–Fall with potential for part-time work in Winter, start date TBD.
Routt County Riders advocates for implementing positive change for all types of cyclists in Northwest Colorado. We accomplish our mission through community outreach activities like social rides, safety initiatives, trail maintenance and coordinated volunteer days. We engage civically and advocate for trail diversity and road infrastructure improvements throughout the Yampa Valley and beyond.
The Program Director (PD) is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in all aspects of program implementation and growth.
Specific job responsibilities and duties will vary depending on the candidate, but may include creative marketing and design, community events, volunteer outreach, community engagement, data collection and research, collaboration with program partners, social media, fundraising, and/or grant writing. The PD reports to the RCR Executive Director (ED) and supervises the work of volunteers.
Routt County Riders has grown over the years from just trail building and some advocacy to safe routes to schools, bike match - matching bikes with the community, street smarts safety & education, and maintaining and building trails. We're fun cycling non-profit who love all types of bike riding and get to do it in the Yampa Valley!
This position is full-time in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and then has the flexibility to go part-time in the Winter months but there is always plenty to do.
