Job summary

New Creation Academy is seeking a Program Director to oversee daily operations of the Center's services and participate in the administrative management team. You will advise on staff matters and financial operations, ensuring compliance and program quality.

The role requires a relevant education background, verification of experience, and strong computer skills. Bilingual ability is a plus, with competitive benefits and negotiable salary.

Qualifications

• BA or AA in Early Childhood Education with 2 years teaching exp, or CA CC Instructional Permit and/or CDA with 5 years teaching exp.
• Must have DEEC/OCCS Group Child Care Certificate or transcript.
• Verification of experience.
• Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural helpful.
• Fundamental computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, internet.

The Program Director oversees the daily operations of the Center's services and has the authority to make decisions within the management areas defined by the EEC. As a member of the administrative management team, the Program Director will be consulted as a key advisor on all decisions related to the employees and the Center's financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or AA degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and two years teaching experience or a CA Children's Center Instructional Permit and /or a CDA plus five years teaching experience
• Must have a Department of Early Education and Care / Office of Child Care Services Group Child Care Certificate, OR transcript
• Verification of experience
• Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural helpful
• Fundamental computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and the internet)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 credits in Child Development
• 9 credits in Early Childhood Education
• 2 credits in Day Care Administration
• 2 credits in Early Childhood Education

• Must have the required work experience

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 36 months of experience if you have a High School diploma.
• 27 months of experience if you have a certificate.
• 18 months of experience if you have an Associate degree.
• 9 months of experience if you have a Bachelor's degree.
