Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time Program Director to help grow its LifeWise program in the local community. You will lead relationship building with schools, churches and families while coordinating fundraising, donor communications and community outreach.

You will recruit and train team members, ensure safe and welcoming classes, handle scheduling and enrollment, and support budgeting and compliance with LifeWise policies. This role combines ministry impact with nonprofit leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ministry, education, fundraising, administration, volunteer coordination or community engagement is helpful, but a heart for the mission is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Build community relationships by partnering with schools, parents, churches and local leaders.
  • Lead local fundraising, donor communication and community outreach initiatives.
  • Recruit, train and support team members to maintain a welcoming, Christ-centered culture.
  • Oversee program operations including scheduling, enrollment and basic budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with LifeWise Academy procedures and school policies.

Job description

Program Director for LifeWise Academy

As program director, you’ll help lead and grow your community’s LifeWise program by:

Building Community Relationships
  • Develop positive partnerships with school leaders, parents, churches and community members
  • Serve as atrusted representative of LifeWise Academy in the local community
  • Communicate the vision and impact of the program
Leading Fundraising and Community Support
  • Coordinate local fundraising efforts and community giving campaigns
  • Lead donor communication, appreciation and stewardship
  • Conduct church presentations, fundraising events, sponsorship opportunities and community outreach initiatives
  • Encourage ongoing financial partnerships to help sustain and grow the program
  • Utilize the LifeWise Academy fundraising strategies
Leading and Supporting Team Members
  • Recruit, train, encourage and support team members
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered culture for students and families
  • Coordinate teams to ensure classes run smoothly and safely
Managing Program Operations
  • Oversee communication, scheduling, enrollment and basic administrative tasks
  • Assist with budgeting, fundraising coordination and stewardship of resources
  • Maintain compliance with school policies and LifeWise Academy procedures

Position Details
  • Part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
  • Some daytime availability required during school hours
  • Occasional weekend, evening or community events
