Psychiatric Medical Care, LLC. is seeking a Program Director (Inpatient) in State College, PA to lead the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient psychiatric program for adults and geriatrics.

The role focuses on clinical and operational leadership, staff supervision, and ensuring high-quality patient care within budgeted goals. The director will recruit, evaluate, and support staff, drive program metrics, and collaborate with RN directors for clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs meet PMC standards.
• Supervise program staff and evaluate performance.
• Recruit and screen new staff and provide community education for the program.
• Coordinate activities to ensure quality patient care and achieve budgeted outcomes.

Title: Program Director (Inpatient)

Schedule: M-F dayshift hours (No weekends or on-call)

Location: State College, PA

Population: Adults and geriatrics

Responsibilities:

The Program Director ensures that the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient psychiatric program meets Psychiatric Medical Care’s (PMC) standards. Supervisor of the program staff, the Program Director’s responsibilities include evaluating staff performance, recruiting and screening new staff and providing community education to create awareness of the program. Must have a proven ability in conflict resolution and effective problem solving. The Program Director directs and coordinates the activities of staff to ensure quality patient care. They are responsible for clinical and operational outcomes meeting/exceeding budgeted expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required. May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education. Required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or equivalent preparation preferred.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred.
