The Program Director oversees the daily operations of a comprehensive vocational training and career services program, with a strong emphasis on workforce development, participant support, and collaborative partnerships. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of program delivery—including academic instruction, soft skill training, job placement, and wraparound services—with a focus on high-quality outcomes for individuals who typically have high barriers to employment.
Our Ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree in social work, education, workforce development or related field; Mater’s preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing workforce development or vocational programs. A working knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of poverty and barriers faced by persons experiencing unemployed/underemployed; homelessness; current or previous involvement in the criminal justice system; and with mental health or addiction histories. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and proof of insurance required.
