Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Program Director to lead complex IT/Network/Telecom service delivery programs, especially in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, program governance, stakeholder management, and delivery expertise to ensure exceptional performance across mission-critical, large-scale infrastructure programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and network services programs, including managed services and digital transformation projects.
  • Define and manage program plans, timelines, budgets, and resources for successful outcomes.
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics to ensure delivery alignment with business goals and client expectations.
  • Drive weekly and monthly governance, prepare detailed status reports and manage risks and dependencies.
  • Oversee project deliverables, vendor engagement, and change control processes.
  • Participate in incident and change management processes to ensure SLAs are met.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, building trusted relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Understand client business objectives and map them to technical delivery outcomes.
  • Manage escalations and represent program health to senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Facilitate regular reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients.

Team & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including onsite, offshore, vendor, and subcontractor resources.
  • Mentor and guide project managers, engineers, and operations leads across the program lifecycle.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and high-performance delivery culture.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery and operational risks.
  • Drive resolution for escalated issues and implement contingency plans.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and establish preventative measures.

Strategic Growth & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for service expansion, automation, and innovation.
  • Support business development and pre-sales activities, including solutioning and proposal defense.
  • Stay current on industry trends to drive technology modernization for clients.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure deliverables comply with contract obligations, quality standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Adhere to best practices (e.g., ITIL, Agile), conducting regular audits and reviews for continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience in IT/Networks/Telecom, with 5+ years managing mission-critical, 24x7 service operations.
  • 2+ years managing service delivery in the healthcare industry.
  • 15+ years of project/program management experience in network-related initiatives.
  • Proven experience delivering service for accounts with ACV of $3M+.
  • Strong background in infrastructure operations, unified communications, and offshore/onshore delivery models.
  • Financial management skills including budget tracking and cost optimization.
  • Familiar with ITIL, Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a PMO environment.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Project, ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar.
  • Track record of innovation and automation-driven service improvements.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP / PRINCE2
  • ITIL Foundation / Intermediate

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
