Job summary

The Little Gym of Silver Spring is seeking a Program Director to reinforce our core values and mission, master the curriculum, and communicate clearly with staff and members. You will teach our proven gymnastics program, lead the team, boost member satisfaction, manage inquiries, and help grow enrollment while maintaining a safe, fun environment.

This position also offers advancement, training, and professional development within a supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Teaching amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
• Leadership: develop and maintain a fun, professional work environment and oversee curriculum for the team.
• Public Speaking: share knowledge of programs and events to bring the curriculum to life.
• Customer Service: deliver outstanding member experiences with a personal touch.
• Business Indicators: assist in studying and assessing key business metrics to grow enrollment and finances.
• Office Tasks: handle calls, texts, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
• Cleaning: maintain a clean, safe facility.

What We Expect From You...

Program Director: Reinforcement and Leading of the Core Values and Mission Statement of The Little Gym, understanding the philosophy and program, and communicating information accurately and professionally to team and customers.

• Teaching: Teach amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!). Teaching is your job, you need to love what you do, so you need to love to teach! This will be your biggest priority!
• Leadership: Develop, grow, and maintain a fun and professional work environment for staff. As Program Director your most important role is leading the curriculum for your team! You’ll work directly with our leadership team to ensure that our team is truly teaching the BEST classes!
• Public Speaking: Sharing knowledge of all the programs and events we offer. We tell everyone about us and it’s up to you to bring every aspect of our curriculum to life!
• Customer Service: Providing outstanding customer service and membership experience. We treat our members like family here. We respond in professional ways, but with a personal touch, every time.
• Business Indicators: You’ll assist the Gym Director by studying, maintaining, and assessing key business indicators to develop and grow the business in both enrollment and finances.
• Office Tasks: Including answering phone calls, texts, emails, Instaply, voicemail, and walk in inquiries required
• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and safe environment by cleaning equipment thoroughly.

• The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and enjoyable extras like camps, Parents' Survival Nights, skill clinics and Awesome Birthday Bash parties.
• Your application will go directly to the franchise Somersault Operating, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that Somersault Operating. All inquiries about employment at this franchise should be made directly to Somersault Operating, and not to The Little Gym Franchising Corporate. Somersault Operating currently has 30 The Little Gym locations spread across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA). With multiple new locations scheduled to open in the coming years, Somersault Operating looks forward to having you helping us grow!

Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
