Job summary

LifeWise Academy Inc. is seeking a part-time Program Director in Albemarle, NC to lead and grow the LifeWise program in the local community. You will build partnerships with schools, churches and families, and coordinate fundraising and donor stewardship.

You will recruit and support team members, ensure safe, welcoming classes, and oversee scheduling, enrollment and basic administrative tasks while maintaining compliance with LifeWise procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in ministry, education, fundraising, administration or community engagement is helpful.
• Heart for the mission is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build community relationships with school leaders, parents, churches and community members.
• Serve as a trusted LifeWise Academy representative in the local community and communicate the program's vision and impact.
• Coordinate local fundraising efforts, donor communication and stewardship; conduct church presentations and events.
• Recruit, train and support team members; foster a Christ-centered, welcoming culture for students and families.
• Oversee scheduling, enrollment, basic administrative tasks and budgeting support; ensure safety and compliance.

Under a little-known Supreme Court ruling, LifeWise empowers communities to provide Bible education for their public school students DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Tens of thousands of public school students attend LifeWise Bible classes each week.

Job Description

What You'll Do

As program director, you'll help lead and grow your community's LifeWise program by:

Building Community Relationships

• Develop positive partnerships with school leaders, parents, churches and community
  members
• Serve as a trusted representative of LifeWise Academy in the local community
• Communicate the vision and impact of the program

Leading Fundraising and Community Support

• Coordinate local fundraising efforts and community giving campaigns
• Lead donor communication, appreciation and stewardship
• Conduct church presentations, fundraising events, sponsorship opportunities and
  community outreach initiatives
• Encourage ongoing financial partnerships to help sustain and grow the program
• Utilize the LifeWise Academy fundraising strategies

Leading and Supporting Team Members

• Recruit, train, encourage and support team members
• Foster a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered culture for students and families
• Coordinate teams to ensure classes run smoothly and safely

Managing Program Operations

• Oversee communication, scheduling, enrollment and basic administrative tasks
• Assist with budgeting, fundraising coordination and stewardship ofresources
• Maintain compliance with school policies and LifeWise Academy procedures
