Job summary

Evidence Action is hiring a Manager for our New Program Development team in the Accelerator. You will own early-stage health interventions, driving them from insight to proven, fundable programs or clear stop decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quant social science, program management, international development, or global health in a cross-country setting.
• Ability to read primary research and synthesize evidence bases critically.
• Experience building or interpreting cost-effectiveness, epidemiological, or statistical models.
• Design lean learning activities to address decisionuncertainty and deliver on timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, build trust, and align diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of pipeline interventions end to end through the Accelerator's stage-gate process.
• Interrogate the evidence base including effect sizes, external validity, and gaps.
• Model impact and cost-effectiveness with the Cost-Effectiveness team, testing assumptions and uncertainty.
• Design and run lean learning activities with the MLE team to unblock decisions.
• Build a compelling, evidence-grounded investment case for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Growth, Program teams, and Country Teams to align resources and partnerships.
• Lead conversations with researchers, implementers, and funders to source new ideas and partnerships.
• Mentor analysts and interns and contribute to improving Accelerator methods and workflows.
