Job description

At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

This position is designed for an experienced professional with a demonstrated track record of both rigorous program and project execution and the change management required to drive solution adoption within the Biotech/Pharma landscape.

Disciplined program and project management, milestone tracking, and active execution are core to this role—as is the stakeholder alignment, change strategy, and communication planning required to embed outcomes into sustainable, business-as-usual operations. Both disciplines are essential to realizing the full value of any system, process, and ways of working initiative we deliver.

Please note: This position directly supports systems, process, and ways of working initiatives rather than molecule or drug development programs.

In this role, you will bridge technical, operational, and business boundaries, combining hands-on project delivery expertise with change management principles to ensure key initiatives hit milestones, overcome operational friction, and realize their intended business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scope, plan, and execute project roadmaps to ensure business solutions are adopted and drive value within agreed timelines
  • Apply consistent project delivery standards, managing day-to-day delivery mechanics, cross-functional coordination, and deliverable development
  • Capture, track, and proactively mitigate operational, timeline, and execution risks while maintaining accurate program documentation
  • Prepare clear data updates and progress metrics for executive governance bodies to support grounded decision-making
  • Design and deploy solution adoption frameworks that seamlessly embed deliverables into daily operational workflows across impacted business units
  • Perform impact assessments, map user journeys, and address adoption barriers to ensure the end-user voice shapes project planning
  • Craft transparent communication plans and equip functional leaders with narratives and tools to coach their teams through transitions
Who You Are

You are a results-oriented leader who brings both the delivery discipline to keep complex initiatives on track and the change management capability to ensure those initiatives are genuinely embedded into the way people work. You thrive in dynamic, matrixed environments where authority and accountability are shared ,leveraging active listening, direct influence, and structured planning to drive teams toward action, delivery and impact.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional delivery and embedding business or operational solutions in clinical development, medical affairs, or technology sectors
  • Strong background in change management, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, adoption planning, and resistance management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex project information into clear narratives for diverse audiences
  • Collaborative mindset with strong influence and connection skills, enabling you to gain alignment, navigate ambiguity, and foster an environment of trust and inclusion
  • Continuous, curious learner who actively seeks feedback, applies modern project and change management methodologies, and shares best practices across teams
  • Experience or skills in data and technology applications within biotech, pharma, or life sciences is highly valued
