Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Dulles, VA is seeking a Program Cost Control Finance Analyst – Level 2 to support budgets, schedules and government cost control requirements. The role requires collaboration with programs and customers to ensure funding and expenditure alignment.

You will perform Earned Value management tasks, build WBS, and prepare projections; on-site presence at least three days a week. US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional experience, or a Master's degree.
• Experience with financial analysis or reporting.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control system, monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support.
• Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
• Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete.
• Other duties as assigned.
