Job summary

Porter & Chester Institute in Springfield, MA is seeking a Welding Program Coordinator to organize and lead faculty to ensure quality classroom instruction. They will administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, enabling them to develop employable skills aligned with employer expectations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recent welding experience (not including apprenticeship).
  • Proficient knowledge in welding industry - GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and Plasma.
  • 3 years of classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred.
  • 3 years of leadership and management experience preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary Range: $72,800.00 To $78,000.00 Annually

$2000 Sign-on Bonus

The Program Coordinator will organize and lead faculty in a manner that ensures quality classroom instruction. They will administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, which will ultimately allow students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.

Position Requirements:
