Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Collegiate Veterans Success Center on the Gainesville campus. You will lead outreach, coordinate programs, supervise student staff, and foster partnerships with campuses, veterans organizations, and community partners to support military-connected students.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in higher education/student affairs or related field.
• Knowledge of military culture and veteran student needs is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach and engagement strategies for military-connected students.
• Supervise peer mentoring and student employment initiatives.
• Conduct targeted outreach at key transition points (admission, orientation, milestones).
• Serve as contact for military-connected students and families for university resources.
• Create accessible communications across digital platforms and events.
• Plan, implement, and assess CVSC programs, workshops, and events.
• Develop relationships with military installations and veteran-serving organizations.
• Advise student organizations and manage related databases and records.
• Support assessment, reporting, and daily operations of CVSC.
