The Aspen Institute Socrates Program is hiring a Program Coordinator to assist with seminar reading materials, logistics, and communications. You will work closely with the Associate Director and Executive Director to ensure high-quality seminars and smooth operations.
The role requires strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects. In-person NYC office 40% plus balance remote work is expected.

The Aspen Institute Socrates Program provides a forum for emerging leaders from various professions to convene and explore contemporary issues through expert‑moderated dialogue. Socrates also provides the opportunity for participants to enter into a diverse professional network, and into the broader range of the Aspen Institute's programs.
The Aspen Institute Socrates Program seeks a highly organized, adaptable, and detail‑oriented Program Coordinator to assist with the production of seminar reading materials, logistics and planning of seminars, and communications and marketing. The position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a passion for learning.
The Program Coordinator works directly with the Associate Director and Executive Director of the Socrates Program.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 – $60,000. In accordance with our Reimagining Work policy, the Program Coordinator should be willing to be in‑person out of the NYC office with colleagues a minimum of 40% of the time while having the flexibility to work remotely for the balance.
