This position will lead the development, implementation and daily management of the Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) program on San Carlos Apache Lands, with the direction of the Gila County Family, Consumer & Health Sciences (FCHS) Agent. Responsibilities will include coordinating program operations, partnerships, outreach, and educational activities while ensuring all program goals, contractual deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements are achieved in alignment with the priorities of the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (First Things First; FTF). This position provides education to non-traditional caregivers of young children. The program teaches early brain development, social and emotional well‑being, attachment, physical safety, health, nutrition, and related topics. The role will be carried out on San Carlos Apache Lands within the San Carlos Apache FTF Region in collaboration with First Things First, the Arizona Board of Regents, the University of Arizona on behalf of the Gila County Cooperative Extension, and other possible funding sources. The candidate will provide expert guidance and technical assistance to FFN providers and develop educational materials appropriate for the audience.
This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position.

Non‑Exempt; Part Time; 20 hours per week; hourly rate $25.50 – $31.87. Benefits eligible: Yes – Full Benefits.
