The University of Nevada, School of Medicine is recruiting for a Program Coordinator. The Rural Health Advocate (RHA), housed within Frontier AHEC and serving the broader Nevada AHEC network, advances healthcare workforce development and community health initiatives in rural and frontier Nevada. The position serves as a liaison among healthcare employers, educational institutions, community partners, and residents to identify workforce needs, develop strategic partnerships, support healthcare career pathway programming, and facilitate community-based care navigation and referral efforts. Through collaboration with local and statewide stakeholders, the position supports the university's public service mission by strengthening healthcare workforce pipelines and expanding access to healthcare resources in underserved communities.
This is a part‑time position.
Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a master’s degree and one year of related work experience
