OCHIN, Inc. is seeking an Epic Program Coordinator - Release to support cross-functional initiatives in a fully remote environment.

The role focuses on administrative and project coordination, scheduling, documentation, and clear communication to keep programs on track and aligned with organizational priorities. You will serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams, prepare reports, maintain documentation, track milestones, and contribute to process improvements while supporting travel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems related to the program area.
  • Competency assessment (50-60 minutes) prior to team interview.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across departments.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, summaries, and internal communications to support program execution and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of program activities using internal tracking systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to track project milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and follow-ups.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Position Overview

The Non-Technical Program Coordinator provides essential administrative and project coordination support for cross-functional initiatives across OCHIN. This role supports the planning, execution, and tracking of internal programs and processes, ensuring efficient scheduling, documentation, and communication. The Non-Technical Program Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining smooth workflows and helping align departmental activities with organizational priorities.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, summaries, and internal communications to support program execution and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of program activities, updates, and outcomes using internal tracking systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to track project milestones, ensuring timely completion of tasks and follow-ups.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems related to the program area.
  • Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50-60-minute competency assessment. The assessment gives us insights into how your strengths, preferences, and work style align with the OCHIN's nine core competencies. It's not about passing or failing-it's about understanding fit and setting you up for success.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer service. Frequent creativity, mentoring, presentations/teaching. Occasional decision making and independent judgment or action.
  • Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • This position requires a virtual home-office environment, working remotely.
  • The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and mobile devices.
  • Travel is required to support OCHIN's business requirements for Go-Live installations or training which may require travel by air, vehicle, or train.
Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Work from home requirements are:

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
  • High Speed Internet Service
  • It is a requirement that employees work in a distraction free workplace
  • Travel required up to 20% nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements for OCHIN
  • (OR) Travel may be required nationally based on business requirements for OCHIN
