Job summary

Children of America in New York is seeking a Program Coordinator for Early Childhood Education to support daily school operations, mentor classroom teams, and ensure licensing and accreditation standards are met.

You will implement engaging activities, maintain records, coordinate field trips and conferences, and provide leadership coverage when the School Director is absent. This role offers leadership growth and employee childcare discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare management or leadership
• CDA credential or pursuing CDA
• Degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development or related field
• Must meet state licensing and professional development requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

As a Program Coordinator, you will support daily school operations, help maintain high-quality classroom environments, and ensure our programs meet company, state licensing, and accreditation standards.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Meets applicable state and COA age requirements.
• Meets state qualifications for Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher, as applicable.
• Previous childcare experience; management or leadership experience preferred.
• CDA credential, currently pursuing a CDA, or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Ability to meet state-required ongoing training and professional development requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• A passion for early childhood education and supporting children's growth.

Final compensation is based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Additional incentives may be available based on eligibility.
