Job description

Summary

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for interacting with members to discuss the program opportunities, facilitating program enrollment and maintenance (which includes contact with physicians, manufacturers, and/or external vendors), and maintaining detailed member case notes. In addition to direct member engagement, the Program Coordinator also works with internal Amwins teams and external client stakeholders to provide case updates and facilitate program performance. Although not all members will qualify for all available programs, an effective Program Coordinator will be results-driven to push enrollment when available while balancing the need to be customer-focused and assist the member.

Amwins Assist, a department of Amwins Rx, assists members in gaining access to drug assistance solutions to reduce overall drug costs for both the member and their health plan. These assistance solutions could include various manufacturer assistance programs, preferred pharmacy steerage, and other Amwins proprietary programs. Through program enrollment of eligible drugs, members and health plans can see dramatic drug cost savings – even up to 100% specific drug coverage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

  • Complete targeted member outreach via phone, email, and member letters to determine program eligibility and participation consent.

  • Enter and maintain overrides in the claim adjudication system applicable to the program.
  • Document and maintain detailed member case notes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners in the program's operation, including but not limited to pharmacy outreach, clinical override entry, and Client stakeholders.
  • Assigned to a program helpline and email distribution group for inbound inquiries.
  • Support fellow team members with additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Experience on phones with customers, outbound and inbound.
  • Experience or knowledge of pharmacy benefit manager and Medicare Part D a strong plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a call center-type environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Experience coordinating between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE Requirements
