Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent classified Program Coordinator position. This position supports the Media and Event Services department. This position is in person and the work schedule will vary and will include frequent weekends and evenings.

Position Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to potential clients regarding space reservations.
  • Provide venue information, quotes, and available resources.
  • Coordinate and schedule conference rooms and classrooms using scheduling software (25Live).
  • Manage contracts for external clients based on individual needs for the venue and resources.
  • Coordinator and operate technical media equipment which may include lighting, sound, projectors, microphones, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with Media Technicians, ITS, Facilities, and other campus departments.
  • Coordinate the reservation to align with the information provided by Media Services and Facilities.
  • Be on site for external events during space set up, providing requested media, and following college policies.
  • Perform various office duties include email communication, updating calendars, processing payments with accounting, filing, supply ordering, and support purchasing paperwork.
  • Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of work experience in events or a related area.
  • Flexibility to work various hours throughout the week, including weekends and evenings.
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • Possess valid auto insurance.

Supplemental Information

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Salary Range: $3,738-$4,980/month | Step A-M (commensurate with qualifications and experience) | Range: 41 | Code: 107N

Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
