ABOUT DOROT

Offered in person, online via Zoom, and over the telephone, our peer group programs promote lifelong learning, health and wellness, creative expression, and meaningful social connection.

  • Manage all aspects of program coordination, from concept through implementation and follow-up, including presenter and participation communication, room and technology needs, registration oversight and attendance tracking, and production of program specific materials.
  • Cultivate, maintain, and deepen relationships with a wide array of facilitators, artists, performers, volunteers, and cultural and community organizations; coach and support them in developing programs and gatherings that invite opportunities for connection.
  • Strengthen constituent relationships and engagement by gathering feedback, identifying needs and interests, and translating them into opportunities for connection within the broader DOROT community.
  • Collaborate with other DOROT departments to support constituent needs and strengthen program planning, including conferring with Supportive Services staff, preparing program data and materials for fundraising proposals and reports, and contributing to targeted marketing and outreach strategies.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee office volunteers and interns to ensure best practices and positive experiences for them and participants.
  • Collect and enter participation data, constituent interactions, and partner relationships using DOROT’s online database (Salesforce); contribute to the review of statistics for internal reports and analysis of trends.
