Somerset Community College invites applications for a full-time Instructor/Program Coordinator for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. The position operates in a hybrid format with courses delivered on the Laurel Campus and Russell Center, requiring travel between sites as needed.

The role involves leading didactic and clinical instruction, coordinating curriculum, ensuring accreditation compliance, advising students, and participating in program governance and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Must possess RDMS or ARRT(S) credential(s) (Abdomen/Obstetrics Gynecology).
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in theory and practice of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional activities, and learning materials; maintain records and reports on student learning.
• Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, accreditation compliance, and faculty supervision.
• Advise students, coordinate clinical placements, and participate in admissions and advisory committees.
• Contribute to program budget processes and engage in professional development and service activities.
