Job Responsibilities

This position is located in the Office of Financial Regulations & Solvency's PBM Oversight & Special Licensing Division.

Job Purpose

Under limited supervision, process license applications for PBMs, PSAOs, premium service companies, service contract providers, third-party administrators, utilization review/private review agents, and other entities under the Office of PBM Oversight and Specialty Licensing. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and respond to complaints and external reviews against these license types.

Job Functions
  • Process licensing and appointment applications timely and accurately, including updates and changes, using State Based Systems, NIPR, and other mediums.
  • Respond to public inquiries regarding licensing and complaints, assist with monitoring activities, and prepare meetings and presentations.
  • Serve as backup for complaint and external review oversight, investigating violations, securing information, and ensuring compliance.
  • Assist with program reviews, evaluations, and policy updates, and prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
  • High School diploma and relevant experience.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, occasional travel, and interpret laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience with PBMs, PSAOs, TPAs, or related fields.
  • Understanding of pharmacy-third-party payer relationships and contract analysis skills.
