Job summary

The Salvation Army, Developmental Disabilities Program in Lower Bucks County, PA seeks a Program Coordinator (Community Based Living) to lead a residential team, ensure safety and quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities, and advocate for participants.

You’ll oversee staff schedules, coordinate services, support families, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) with 2 years field experience, OR high school diploma with 5 years field experience.
• Experience with MS Office and electronic health record systems.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and county regulations for adult developmental disability services.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage schedules and promote a positive work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; on-call responsibilities.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a blend of administrative excellence and a heart for service.

The Essentials:

• Education & Experience: An Associate’s Degree (or 60 credits) with 2 years of field experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant field experience.
• Technological Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Word) and comfortable utilizing computers and other technologies including electric health record databases.
• Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of federal, state, and county regulations (6400) for adult developmental disability services.
• Leadership Skills: The ability to supervise staff, manage schedules, and maintain a positive, high-quality work environment. This leadership position requires flexible availability based on scheduling and supervision for 24/7 residential operations. May be required to work nights and/or weekends.
• Task Management: Ability to manage and track large amounts of information, including but not limited to medical appointments, financial information, staff schedules, petty cash and quality surveys.
• Reliability: A valid Driver’s License with a good driving record, reliable vehicle and the ability to manage on-call responsibilities.
