Program Coordinator Community Based Programs

Join to apply for the Program Coordinator Community Based Programs role at McLaren Health Care.

Job Summary: Develops and manages the Karmanos Cancer Institute value-added programs for the benefit of network cancer programs and affiliate community partners, including internal and external messaging to current and prospective patients as well as associated and referring clinical providers. Facilitates system-wide staff training to support CBP initiatives.

Note: This position is remote, but travel up to 30% may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate community awareness, outreach programs, and sponsorship activities for Karmanos Cancer Institute network, including marketing campaigns.
• Provide resources and support for network cancer screenings, health fairs, and community events.
• Implement new programs such as e-tumor boards and staff training for cancer programs.
• Coordinate and promote annual Oncology Continuing Medical Education programming.
• Support project teams and work groups for Elekta projects as requested by leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent plus five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in event and program planning, administration, and promotion.
• Healthcare administration experience, preferably in oncology.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for oncology services, including JCAHO and ACOS.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact at all organizational levels and with external contacts.
