Job summary

Cava Foods in Washington, DC is seeking a Program Coordinator to support cross-functional initiatives, coordinate programs, and drive operational efficiency. You will work with production, quality, supply chain, marketing, and R&D to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in program or project coordination, preferably in the food manufacturing or CPG industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on problem-solving.
  • Passion for food and alignment with Cava’s mission to bring heart, health, and humanity to food.

Responsibilities

  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for ongoing projects within Cava Foods.
  • Ensure program goals align with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between departments, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, marketing, and R&D teams.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings, capturing actionable items and ensuring follow-ups.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve program execution.
  • Support the development and implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Assist in planning and executing events such as team-building activities, training sessions, and special projects.
  • Ensure all logistical details are managed effectively.

The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting cross-functionalinitiatives within Cava Foods. This position is responsible for coordinatingand executing programs and projects that enhance operational efficiency,product quality, and team collaboration. What You’ll Do:

  • Abilityto maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and otheroffice equipment

  • Abilityto communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantlypositions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food productionsupport or office operations, as applicable
