Responsibilities

  • Model the core values of 4:13 Strong and align with its mission, values, and goals.
  • Ensure program policy compliance by all participants and lead accountability.
  • Oversee the drug testing program for staff and participants.
  • Lead programming for graduates, including mentoring, volunteering, workshops, and events.
  • Oversee one-on-one mentoring program: recruit/train mentors, match, monitor.
  • Deliver work development instruction focusing on Standards and Accountability and Work Ethic.
  • Cultivate a positive, Christ-centered environment and support participant success.
  • Participate in Mental Toughness Week (five weeks per year).
  • Participate in fundraising activities as required.
  • Direct, coach, motivate, and evaluate participants.
  • Assist with program budget development and management for financial sustainability.
  • Track participant progress and prepare stakeholder reports.
  • Ensure safety standards and organizational policies are followed.
  • Drive for afternoon pick-up as needed.
  • Solicit participant feedback from job partner supervisors.
  • Visit participants at job sites regularly.
  • Meet with participants regularly and document progress toward goals.
  • Develop and maintain alumni database.
  • Lead Saturday service projects twice per cohort (10 Saturdays per year).

Organization Summary: 4:13 Strong is a faith-based nonprofit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee that empowers young men to transform their lives so that they can succeed personally and professionally. Our residential program provides a holistic approach to foster social, emotional and spiritual growth and takes approximately six to eight months to complete.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the 4:13 Strong Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that 4:13 Strong is meeting established performance standards and delivering the expected results. The 4:13 Strong Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that afternoon and evening programming is delivered with excellence and that all participants and graduates are mentored throughout their involvement with 4:13 Strong.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Model the core values of 4:13 Strong and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with 4:13 Strong program policies by all participants. Lead in the accountability process to encourage compliance.
  • Oversee the drug testing program for staff and participants.
  • Lead in providing programming for 4:13 Strong graduates (including mentoring, volunteering, workshops, and events).
  • Oversee the one‑on‑one mentoring program (mentor recruitment and training, mentor matching and monitoring) for all participants and graduates.
  • Deliver work development instruction (Standards and Accountability; Work Ethic)

Additional Information

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary is $65,000
  • Potential for quarterly performance bonuses
  • Fifteen (15) days of Paid-Time-Off (PTO) each calendar year
  • Eleven (11) paid holidays each calendar year
  • Up to a three percent (3%) employer match on contributions to an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
  • Health Insurance (50% paid by 4:13 Strong)
