Job summary

Quest Autism Programs in New Jersey seeks a Program Coordinator to lead the Adult Day Hab program, coordinating services, partnerships, and data-driven improvements.

You will work Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm with some weekends/evenings; ensure NJ DDD regulations compliance, manage billing and Therap data, and supervise staff. Driving participants to activities is required.

If you hold a related Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in leadership within social services, you will join a mission-driven team.

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator to lead and manage community-based initiatives that promote health, wellness, and social engagement for adults with autism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As a vital member of our team, you will coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholders, foster community partnerships, and ensure the successful delivery of impactful programs. This paid position is ideal for someone passionate about community outreach, social work, and special education who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Must be familiar with NJ DDD regulations.

Hours will be Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm, some weekends and evenings may be required.

Duties

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the services offered at the Adult Day Hab Program.
• Coordinate scheduling for community integration for our participants.
• Collaborate with community partners—including local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and government agencies to align efforts and maximize program impact.
• Oversee data collection and session notes collection/ processes to monitor program outcomes; analyze data to inform continuous improvement strategies. This is conducted via session notes in Therap. You will be responsible to check therap daily to ensure daily compliance by the direct support professionals.
• Will assist Program Manager with billing submissions.
• Ensure data is recorded as appropriate for behavioral clinicians.
• Assist the Program Manager in the day to day operations of the day hab program and work closely with the Lead DSP and DSP's in the program.
• Provide client communication with empathy and professionalism; address community needs with culturally sensitive approaches.
• Help lead weekly team meetings and supervise staff to foster a motivated and cohesive work environment.
• Driving participants to community outings and volunteer engagements.
• Able to effectively support adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living and recreation.
• Attend outreach events as needed with the Program Leadership Team.

Skills

• Extensive experience with adults with disabilities, particular those with higher needs on the autism spectrum.
• Must be comfortable with behavioral redirection for adults with autism.
• Must complete a Handle with Care Course as a Trainer.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push 50 pounds and over.
• Must have cleaning driving record.
• Must have experience with electronic health records, The agency uses Therap.
• Proven ability in program development, project management, and compliance.
• Excellent public speaking skills to engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Strong marketing skills with experience managing social media platforms for outreach campaigns. The ideal candidate will assist with this initiative.
• Competence in data collection methods and analyzing program metrics for reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of social work principles for a high needs population.
• Bilingual abilities to serve multicultural communities are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership in working with underserved populations; experience in ABA support and special education teaching is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technical proficiency in relevant software tools for project tracking and social media management.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in the following areas: Special Education, Human Services, Nursing, Social Work, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, or Healthcare Administration.
• Must have three years or more experience in a leadership capacity at a social services, educational, or healthcare agency.
