The True/False Film Fest is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Columbia, Missouri-based human being to support the Artistic Director with film and event programming for the upcoming festival (March 4-7, 2027). The Program Coordinator works September through March handling the nuts and bolts of coordinating film submissions and special programs leading up to the festival.
This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for the right candidate to learn how a many-pronged, mission-driven, international cultural event works from the inside. Although the Program Coordinator is invited to participate in programming discussions, no film experience is necessary for this role. A passion for nonfiction is a bonus, but business and hospitality skills might prove more vital for the day-to-day. Familiarity with True/False Film Fest, Ragtag Cinema and/or the thriving arts community in Columbia is also appreciated.

Compensation & Culture: $10,000 stipend and a complimentary pass to the festival. The schedule is flexible and hybrid. The ideal candidate would reside in Columbia, Missouri, and is available to work between September and March. Workload fluctuates from month to month, and a higher workload is expected between January and March.
