Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc. is seeking a qualified Program Control Analyst to join the project management team at ARA's Software Enterprise Division (SED) Raleigh, NC location. This is a permanent, full-time position and provides the selected candidate an opportunity to interact with a vibrant team of engineering & IT professionals working on exciting new technologies. The ideal Program Control Analyst will have extensive demonstrated experience working with project managers and principal investigators to perform budget analysis, cost projections, material estimates, and person-hour estimates for contract and FAR compliance. This person will also be responsible for project finance reporting to the project team, SED management, and to customers through reports and presentations. Working with purchasing and subcontracting personnel, the selected candidate will prepare purchase requisitions and subcontract request packages. Additionally, they will review contract modifications for projects. This person will using corporate templates and following established company guidelines. The selected candidate will assist SED project managers in negotiating, executing, monitoring, and closing out contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, and consulting agreements. The selected candidate will work with Corporate and Sector Government Property personnel as well as project team personnel to ensure project government property is properly managed.
We are seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree, or higher, in a related field with five to seven years of related work experience. Candidates must be self-motivated with the ability to work proactively and achieve results without close supervision. Additionally, candidates must be organized individuals with excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and the capacity to change priorities quickly and work effectively under deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, with the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff located in Raleigh, San Antonio, and at other facilities located around the country.
