Job summary

Mayor and City Council of Baltimore seeks a compliance-focused professional to review policies, prepare monitoring reports, and support the Program Compliance Manager. You will assist with safeguarding housing standards and assist in coordinating trainings and investigations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in program evaluation, coordination, planning or supervision.
• Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree in Human Services/BA/Public Admin with 3–5 years management in program compliance/contract administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and recommend new or amended departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
• Prepare and contribute to periodic and monitoring reporting.
• Serve as Point of Contact for the Compliance Department in the absence of the Program Compliance Manager.
• Assist with review of Program Compliance Officers’ work.
• Lead processing of expenditure reports.
• Coordinate departmental trainings with Program Compliance Manager.
• Respond to constituent concerns with agency-guided resolutions.
• Provide training and technical assistance to partners to ensure compliance.
• Lead program monitoring visits and investigations into Housing Quality Standards violations.
