Job summary

Disney Programs is seeking a Communications and Social Media Intern for a full-time six-month commitment in Orlando, FL, January 2027–June 2027. You will partner with a creative team to craft engaging materials for participants, including newsletters, emails, blogs, and videos.

You will also develop social content from concepts through filming, editing, and publishing, while supporting events and program initiatives. Strong writing, storytelling, and AP style are essential.

Qualifications

• Current OR previous participation in the Disney College Program.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills, with demonstrated experience in both short-form and long-form writing.
• A zeal for content creation and social media and a deep understanding of digital storytelling.
• The ability to handle confidential or sensitive information.
• Proficiency with AP writing style and Microsoft Office.
• A self-starter and a great teammate who can establish relationships and take feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop content that informs and inspires for Disney Programs participants.
• Create newsletters, emails, blog articles, and video content for internal and external audiences.
• Develop content for social media, from ideation to filming, editing, and publishing.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support participant events and arrivals.
• Build skills in professional communications, project management, and writing.
