Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Communications and Social Media Intern for Disney Programs in Orlando, FL, from January 2027 through June 2027. This full-time six-month internship involves creating newsletters, emails, blogs, and video content for internal and external audiences.

You will brainstorm and produce social media content, edit with Adobe tools, and support events and program initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Video Production, English, Media Studies, or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional writing, storytelling, and copy-editing is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a creative team to develop content that informs and inspires for Disney Programs participants.
• Create newsletters, emails, blog articles, and video content for internal and external audiences.
• Develop content for social media channels; ideation through filming, photography, editing, and publishing.
• Assist with administrative duties and support participant events and program initiatives.
