CSIS's Global Food and Water Security Program seeks a PCRA to support its food and water security programming, focusing on communications and media strategy. The role blends media management with event support and research materials, offering growth into broader communications and policy analysis.

The position is based in Washington, DC, with a salary band of $55,000-$65,000 commensurate with experience, and includes a benefits package. The candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IR/Policy and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with external communications, multimedia production, social media, and events.
• Knowledge of global food and/or water security and related policies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with high-level partners.
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently and in teams.
• Team player mindset and proficiency with MS Office and web research tools.

• Communications and Media Management: oversee outreach, social media, newsletters, and content creation.
• Administration: coordinate events, promote events, support podcasts and publications.
• Research: prepare materials for senior staff engagements and program outputs.
