Job summary

Responsibilities include faculty supervision, student recruitment and retention, clinical partnerships, and budget management. A doctorate and PT license are required, with ABPTS certification preferred; commitment to Belmont’s mission is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to engage in high quality scholarly activity.
• Demonstrated ability to advise, instruct, manage, motivate and evaluate students.
• Ability to learn relevant sections of Canvas and BannerWeb; adapt to Belmont’s online systems.
• Experience with program governance, curriculum design, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, goals, and strategic priorities for the School of Physical Therapy in alignment with CPHS.
• Lead governance through planning, meetings, and policy implementation.
• Oversee curriculum design, scheduling, program review, and accreditation support.
• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor faculty and staff; manage workloads and reviews.
• Lead recruitment and retention strategies for the program with collaborations across departments.
• Establish and maintain clinical partnerships, site relationships, and revenue tracking.
