Job summary

Kentucky River Community Care in Hazard, KY, is seeking a Program (Center) Manager to oversee the Adult Day Training Center operations Monday through Friday 8:00am–4:00pm, with some evenings if needed. The role requires strong leadership and administrative skills.

You will coordinate daily activities, supervise staff, handle billing paperwork, and work with nursing staff to meet participant needs, including coordination of Plan of Care meetings and liaison with guardians and Case Manager.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Experience leading and evaluating staff.
• Knowledge of participants with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at the Adult Day Training Center and coordinate daily activities.
• Lead, train, and evaluate staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Complete paperwork for billing; prepare weekly staff/activity schedules.
• Collaborate with Nurse to arrange medical appointments and meet client needs.
• Attend Plan of Care Meetings and communicate with guardians and Case Manager.
• Assist with daily tasks, including cooking and cleaning, and support participants with IDD.

Primary Functions:

• Day-to-day operations at the Adult Day Training Center. Coordinate day training activities and community engagement.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and evaluate staff, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Program policies.
• Paperwork completion for billing purposes, complete weekly schedule for center activities and staff.
• Work with Nurse to ensure all medical appointments and needs are met. Provide structure to clients and staff.
• Attend Plan of Care Meetings. Ensure staff are up to date on training. Communicate with guardians and Case Manager regarding client needs.
• Cook, clean, and help staff implement daily tasks according to Plan of Care. Knowledge of participants with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
